“I stayed here for 3 months. It’s a nice, cozy place. I’ve previously lived in Yorkville, Fort York, Bloor East, and around Sumach Street. While foreigners might be taken aback by the location, let me tell you—this is the average Canadian experience. That’s simply how Canada is.There’s a clear relationship between proximity to downtown and the presence of homelessness: the closer you are to the core, the more you’ll encounter. That said, it’s not dangerous at all—just a few homeless individuals in the area. Walk 200 meters, and you’re already in downtown. The location is actually quite good. I recommend staying here. The secure/closed parking is a huge plus.”

“Wir haben die Unterkuft von Calil für eine Konferenz gebucht und eine sehr schönes Wohnung in einem netten Hinterhof bekommen. Die ersten Tage konnten wir wunder von dort aus Toronto besichtigen. <br/>Lieder gibt es in näherer Umgebung einige Menschen mit einem Drogenproblem. Wir haben aber keine negativen Erfahrungen mit diesen Menschen gemacht. Dobald man den Innenhof betritt, ist davon nichts mehr zu merken. <br/>Die Ausstattung hat nichts zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Wenn wir nochmal in Toronto sind, dann werden wir gerne wieder hier wohnen.”

“Great place to stay - clean, comfy condo in a private complex. Which is good, because this part of Toronto is a bit rough. Still, we had no issues, and access to transit was quite good.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Calin’s condo. He was responsive and accommodating. We felt at home during our stay with our 3 children. The apartment is well located with streetcar and subway nearby. Yes, there are underprivileged people around, but that's the case in all big cities, so it was an opportunity for the kids to recognize our privileges. The courtyard is truly magical and safe. We are grateful to the host for renting this place at an affordable price, it's a very good deal considering the price of a hotel room in this area.”

“great apartment secure and has all the essentials you need for a long or short stay. Yes the area can be sketchy at times but there is a homeless crisis city wide and they do not normally engage with people. Apartment is great for families or anyone looking to get set up for a move to Toronto. Both hosts were very responsive with any questions or queries we had and also had their pleasant daughter on stand by to help out when needed. Would definitely stay again.”

“Calin's place is really nice. I loved the NASA posters and how good and connected is the home 😊 The instructions manual is the best manual I've ever read. So clear, funny and informative. The place is walking distance to Dundas Square and Toronto Eaton Centre. Nothing bad with the place, super recommended!”

“Cozy Chalet at Prembroke St is a home away from home. The place is very private and secured. a lot of foodshop to walk around and very much accessible to all mode of transportation.”

We felt at home right away because the apartment is so spacious and cozy. Our son loved his bedroom, actually think the apartment looks better than in the pictures :)”

“Calin's place was exactly as described, the condo itself is perfect for a family with kids and having a parking spot is a great extra value in the city. The location is on the one hand good since it is right near downtown and walking distance to very nice places to visit, but on the other hand walking around the neighborhood didn't always feel nice (as described). <br/>Calin was very friendly and helpful, we felt right at home and had a great stay.”

All the services it offers are great and the place is completely private and with parking included, which I understand is difficult to find in Toronto. “We were 2 couples with a toddler coming from the UK over the Christmas period. It was easy to find and when there was an unavoidable issue, Calin was extremely quick to respond and help us out. The apartment is modern and cosy with a great kitchen. There was everything we needed and more. The complex is contained, we felt safe and private and managed to walk or get public transport to the places we went to. Calin was super helpful and very responsive which made our stay much better. Fully recommend this place!”
